Finding balance with Nature
The foundations of our project are built on ancestral wisdom, regenerative sustainability, mindfulness, creativity, integrity and reverence for Mother Earth and all of her reflections. We welcome those who are open to grow, be present, collaborate, and contribute to support nature’s innate abundance now and for generations to come.
Holistic health is vital to us and co-creating wellness retreats that are aligned with regenerating mind, body, and spirit is one of our goals.
We offer dynamic hands on learning opportunities through our Apprentice, Internship programs, workshops, courses, and plant walks. The topics we cover range from natural building, herbalism: medicine making, permaculture principles, soil health, syntropic farming, ancient wisdom, lunar farming, honoring the elements and more.
Our Cultivator Leadership Model gives individuals the opportunity to be immersed in a lush jungle oasis. You will also have the chance to practice Spanish while gaining skills you can take with and/or apply to our environment and others.

Ecomaste is located in the southern mountains of Costa Rica in the town of Tinamaste on 1.5 hectares we are a small project with ripe potential for collaboration especially those passionate about Cooking and Hospitality. Please inquire about these opportunities. We live in a micro-community called Fuente Verde and are blessed with our neighbors at Shala Sol, Abundant Eden Nursery, Just B, Fuente Semilla, The Living Library, and Mozen.
Ancestral Knowledge
Everyday you get to wake up to the the sounds of nature, majestic mountain views and short walk to a beautiful cascading stream / river. We have walking trails and also an abundance of fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, local and house crafted products for sale and trade. There are several beaches and waterfalls close by. The beach town of Dominical and the city of San Isidro are only 25 minutes away.
